Anyone have experience at Outback Steakhouse?
« on: March 15, 2007, 05:11:34 PM »

I am considering a job as a waiter to supplement my income.  Does anyone have experience at Outback Steakhouse?  If so, what is an average weekend night of tips?  What about during the week?  And was it a good place to work, etc.?  Also, what about being a bartender instead of a server?  Better job?  More fun?  More money?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Seeing how Outback was my last restaurant job ....

It's a fun place to work, with pretty decent mid-priced food.  As far as tips go, you'll make more as a bartender - but it really depends on the area your Outback is in.  Apply at one in a more affluent area if you have that option.  Also don't be daunted by the hiring process !
