OK, so what's y'alls story?
« on: December 15, 2005, 10:18:52 PM »

This will be brief, as it's bedtime, but I'm very excited to find this site.

I'm a college grad (02), but I am currently waiting tables and I'm 29.  Never thought I would be doing this again.

Anyways, please tell others about this forum.  I've been looking for a site like this.

I work at a restaurant in Austin, btw.  It's PF Chang's.  It's a chain, money is so-so right now.  Brett, you work at Outback, or you did?

I also noticed that Kevin was doing something in real estate?  That's funny because I always thought real estate or a "real job" would get me out of this.

As you can see, we don't check in here often  Smiley

Outback - yes.  Up until December of last year when I decided to finally, after 30 years of restaurant work, to try something new!  So, I'm at a local theatre group counting beans (accounting).

Kevin does part time at the same Outback I was at last (I worked at three of them) and does real estate as his 'real' job.

So ... how's PF Chang's to work for?  They're a recent addition here (Seattle).  I know the one I went to in Phoenix a couple of years ago was packed.  Food was decent (a tad overpriced, but not bad) and service was good.
